Here's the deal.... They make a limited quantity of pre=prepared meal platters and sell them like TV dinners that you have to heat up for yourself. In so doing, you are not paying sales tax and are not paying restaurant tax. That saves you something like 12%. You can take it home and heat it up or use one of the microwaves on the premises to heat it up. The later in the day you get there, the better the odds are of your favorite dinner being sold out. All that being said, the dinners are a great value for fresh seafood. The stuffed crabs are fantastic. We always go there every time we are in the Cocoa Beach area. It has been closed recently due to the owner having been in an accident. The owner seemed a bit gruff the first time we met her, but is a real nice lady once you get to know her. I hope she heals up soon and can re-open. I miss being able to chat with her and really moss the excellent food.

At first, I didn't understand the fact that you cook your food in the microwave but for whatever reason it worked, the food is delicious. The fish is fresh and I highly recommend Miss Apple.

I miss Ms Apples seafood. Are you ever opening again? I've been going there since the late 90's.

What a find! If you're looking for seafood at a reasonable price with all the flavor this is the place for you. I believe there was a time you could actually pick your crab and they'd cook it for you, but I was not there to see if this is true... What I was there for was to pick some crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes and hardboiled eggs and heat them up in a microwave. I'm not a fan of microwaving food but here and there it's ok. I grabbed some deviled crab cause I didn't want to put in the work of picking out the crab and making a mess... I'm so glad I did cause the flies and bugs at the table were driving me nuts so we needed a clean getaway and finished eating in the car (pun intended). What would have easily costed $80-100 at a normal crab boil was no more than $35. I believe they add imitation crab to make it meatier, but I am not complaining, imitation crab is a delight and I'm glad they did if that's the case. The lady, who we will call Ms Apples, has got quite a personality and reminded me of my mom. So I'm sure that helps! This will be our new spot next time I'm in cocoa beach!

This place was unknown to me for a while. My mom actually learned of this place from a friend who also loves blue crabs. This is a seafood market that focuses on blue crabs. You pick them live and they can either prepare them for you there or you can bring them home alive. We opted to get jumbo XL blue crabs there for $10.99 a lb and got them steamed with old bay there. We had a great time eating them by the intercoastal. Oh yeah, if you want the jumbo XLs you need to be there when they open at 9:30 am, as they sell out quick!

Boy what an experience this was. I was visiting 2 of my best college friends and we decided to go here for lunch. We waited in line for almost an hour and a half and yet it was still worth it. I was a little taken aback at the fact that you had to microwave your food to get it warm but that was quickly forgotten as soon as I took one bite. The crab legs and garlic butter here are absolutely some of the most delicious I've ever had in my life. I couldn't stop eating! The crab was moist and, as always, was an absolute blast to crack open and eat. The garlic butter I will say absolutely steals the show as I was sopping that up with my hands and even trying to lick the bowl if not for the all the broken crab shells. I don't have too much else to say. Just go. Try to go a little before the lunch rush as it can take a long while if you don't but it's still worth it if you have someone to chat with in line.
